Landscape Assistant

Local Perth based Landscape Construction company seeks a landscape assistant / potential leading hand role to join our team

Based in Balcatta and servicing the Perth metro area (working from our depot)

The position is full time joining our dedicate crew working along side some of Perth most recognized Landscape Architects / Garden Designers on high end residential construction projects

Prerequisites / Experience

Clean, valid WA drivers license

Current construction card (Western Australia )

Ability to read and interpret landscape construction plans

Sound knowledge in construction skills, equipment ( hand held and mechanical ) and ability to read site levels and contours

Work in a team environment and/or unsupervised in safe manner to industry standards

Position is “Hands On'” and requires the right person to be physically fit with the capacity to lift / move heavy items as part of the role

Work undertaken is external and in the elements ( sun / heat / rain)

Hard and Softscaping construction ability

Monday - Friday working week

Favorable experience/qualifications ( but not essential )

Cert 2 or 3 in Horticulture

Truck (MR/HR ) licence

Previous experience in the horticultural industry - minimum 3 years with capacity to site train the right candidate

Experience on small machinery ( Kanga/ Dingo / Excavator)
