As a local government committed to excellence in service delivery, we aim to foster a safe, inclusive, and thriving community.

The Opportunity

We are currently seeking a motivated and experienced Supervisor Landscape to join our Parks Maintenance team. This is a fantastic opportunity for a skilled professional to step into a leadership role and help shape the quality and presentation of the City’s landscaped areas.

As the Supervisor Landscape, you will work closely with the Coordinator Parks to lead and support a team of Landscape Maintenance Officers and contractors. • Provide technical advice and allocate resources, staff, and equipment effectively.
  • Monitor the health and condition of landscaped areas and implement maintenance programs.
  • Respond to community enquiries and ensure a high standard of customer service.
  • Maintain accurate records and assist with budget monitoring and reporting.
  • Promote and uphold Work Health and Safety standards across all operations.

About You

You are a confident leader with a strong background in horticulture and landscape maintenance. You enjoy working outdoors, leading teams, and delivering high-quality outcomes for the community. Your communication skills, technical knowledge, and commitment to safety will set you apart.

To be successful, you will have:

  • Certificate IV in Horticulture or 5+ years’ experience in landscape operations.
  • Demonstrated experience in a supervisory or team leader role.
  • Strong knowledge of landscape maintenance practices and scheduling.
  • Excellent interpersonal and problem-solving skills.
  • A current ‘C’ class driver’s licence and White Card.
  • Can pass a pre-employment medical check
  • Additional certifications such as Traffic Management, Chemical Application, and First Aid are highly desirable.

What We Offer

This is a permanent full-time position offering a cash salary of $83,830– $91,223 per annum, plus superannuation.

Additional benefits include:

  • Four weeks annual leave, plus three additional Christmas leave days.
  • Paid parental leave (12 weeks primary carer, 2 weeks partner leave).
  • Up to 13.5% superannuation contributions.
  • Employee Assistance Program and healthy workplace initiatives.
  • Professional development and training opportunities.
  • Fitness Passport program access.
  • Novated leasing and salary sacrifice options.
  • Private health insurance corporate discounts.
