The Position

We are looking for a Team Leader, preferably with Metal Finishing experience, or with a maintenance background to become our Afternoon Shift Team Lead on our state-of-the-art automated metal processing line. Comprehensive training will be provided to the successful candidate.

You will have sound mechanical aptitude, a keen eye for quality, and supports overall production targets through efficiency, effective planning, good maintenance practices. Your troubleshooting skills, being an excellent communicator, ability to interpret and complete work orders through a supportive leadership style will have you succeeding in this position.

A trade qualification - Cert III Mechanical or equivalent, is highly desirable, or if you have Electroplating or Anodising experience, this could be the next step in your career development.

This position will require a police check and pre-employment medical assessment including drug and alcohol screening to be undertaken during the recruitment process.

Your Day

Lead an afternoon shift of 4-6 processing team members, once training is completed

Ensure quality of processing runs

Inspection of parts pre and post processing

Perform chemical additions to process line

Daily planning around production schedule, ensuring schedule is met in full and on time

Training of new team members
