The role:

They are seeking a skilled QA Test Automation Engineer who has experience working with the latest automation frameworks.

Duties and Responsibilities

• Play a key role in advancing the organisation’s QA automation strategy and improving software delivery performance.
• Design, implement, and maintain robust automated test suites across microservices, RESTful APIs, and web front-end applications.
• Leverage modern testing tools such as ReadyAPI, Selenium WebDriver, Cypress, Postman, and API testing frameworks to ensure quality at scale.
• Apply data-driven approaches and analytics to enhance test coverage, execution speed, and system reliability.
• Work collaboratively with development, security, and operations teams to integrate quality and security best practices early in the software development lifecycle.

Your Background

• Strong experience with modern QA automation frameworks and scripting languages, including Robot Framework, JavaScript, Python, or Java.
• Deep understanding of microservices-based architectures, API testing methodologies, and cloud-native platforms.
• Proficient with CI/CD tools such as GitHub Actions, Octopus Deploy, and Azure DevOps.
• Demonstrated ability to develop scalable, maintainable automation solutions that support secure financial transactions.
• Proven track record of thriving in dynamic, fast-paced, and compliance-driven environments.
• Hands-on experience with UI and API automation tools such as ReadyAPI, Postman, Selenium, Cypress, or Newman.

HQ is based in Brisbane CBD, however they offer work from home and remote options for candidates who live further afield across South East QLD.
