Are you a qualified electrician with a passion for automation, technical problem-solving, and hands-on project work? We're offering an exciting full-time role based across key Brisbane sites, including Brisbane Airport and a major automated facility in Richlands.

This is a unique opportunity to join a highly experienced team working on complex, PLC-controlled systems in critical logistics environments. The role blends service, maintenance, commissioning, and technical support—ideal for someone who thrives in fast-paced, innovative settings.

Please note: This is a rotating days and nights position, and is only open to Australian and New Zealand Citizens or Permanent Residents due to site access and security requirements.

What You’ll Be Doing

Perform preventative and corrective maintenance on a range of industrial machinery and automation systems

Diagnose and repair faults across electrical, mechanical, PLC, and VSD-controlled systems

Support project installations, commissioning, and system upgrades across two high-profile sites

Interpret and work from electrical schematics and wiring diagrams

Ensure all work complies with AS/NZS 3000 and relevant safety standards

Work closely with operations and engineering teams to improve system performance and reduce downtime

Assist with the training of junior technicians and support the continuous improvement of site processes

Update and manage CMMS systems, spare part usage, and documentation

What You’ll Bring

A current A-Grade Electrical License (essential)

Experience working with PLC-controlled machinery and automated systems

Confidence with fault-finding, diagnostics, and breakdown response

A strong understanding of AS/NZS 3000 wiring standards

The ability to work both independently and as part of a team

Strong communication skills and a customer-focused approach

Willingness to work in secure and regulated environments (ASIC eligibility required)

Advantageous: EWP, Working at Heights, Confined Space, Forklift, First Aid
