About the role
Join the dynamic team of Connect to Nursing Agency Pty.Ltd. as an Assistant in Nursing (AIN) based in Toowoomba, QLD. As an AIN, you will play a vital role in providing compassionate, high-quality aged care services to our residents. This is a full-time or casual position, offering the opportunity to make a meaningful difference in the lives of older Australians.

What you'll be doing

Assist registered nurses and other care staff in delivering personalised and holistic care to aged care residents

Provide personal care such as bathing, grooming, dressing, and mobility support

Monitor and record residents' health and wellbeing, reporting any changes to the nursing team

Maintain a safe, clean, and comfortable environment for residents

Engage residents in social and recreational activities to promote their physical and emotional wellbeing

Assist with the preparation and serving of meals, ensuring residents' dietary needs are met

What we're looking for

Completed Certificate III in Individual Support (Aged Care) or equivalent qualification

Previous experience as an Assistant in Nursing or similar role in an aged care setting

Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build rapport with residents and their families

Compassionate, empathetic, and patient-centred approach to care

Commitment to maintaining a safe and clean working environment

Ability to work collaboratively as part of a multidisciplinary team

Current First Aid and CPR certification
