About the Role:

We’re on the lookout for an enthusiastic and adaptable Talent Acquisition Coordinator to join our People & Culture team in a full-time, permanent role. You will play a critical role in driving end-to-end recruitment across our Centre teams in Australia and New Zealand, helping us find and secure top talent to support National Storage’s continued growth.

Reporting to the Talent Acquisition Advisor, you’ll work closely with Hiring Managers to manage and support the recruitment of Centre Managers and Storage Consultants, while also assisting with ad hoc hiring needs across our Head Office and Contact Centre teams. You will be responsible for ensuring efficient, compliant, and best-practice recruitment processes, all while upholding National Storage’s high standards, policies, and procedures. Your primary focus will be on proactively sourcing, attracting, and placing top talent while facilitating their smooth integration across all locations within the company.

Strong attention to detail, effective time management, and the ability to prioritise and organise tasks are essential for success in this role. You will have excellent communication skills, be process-driven, systematic in your documentation, and confident in partnering with a wide range of stakeholders across the business.

Key Responsibilities:

• Continuously improve and implement recruitment processes in alignment with business goals, working with leadership to establish and maintain recruitment timelines.
• Effectively liaise with Leaders to understand recruitment requirements and provide guidance on relevant salary banding/skills/level required, ensuring this is within budget and all positions are approved prior to advertising.
• Oversee the entire recruitment process for Centre employees, including resume screening, candidate shortlisting, phone screenings, interview coordination, providing feedback to unsuccessful candidates, and recommending top candidates, ensuring consistent communication throughout.
• Develop and post job advertisements that align with National Storage’s standards to attract high-quality talent using our internal recruitment platform.
• Ensure relevant recruitment materials (phone screen templates, interview guides for hiring managers etc) are updated.
• Conduct reference checks for shortlisted candidates, ensuring thorough due diligence, verifying employment details, and confirming alignment between resumes and references.
• Coordinate with the wider People & Culture team and Leaders to help forecast future hiring needs.

• Being based in Brisbane is advantageous (our Head Office is in the CBD). However, we are open to other locations across Australia and New Zealand.
