A Project Manager job has arisen for a leading mining organisation who are embarking on a major digital transformation of Health, Safety, Environment, and Community (HSEC) systems.
This will be a fixed-term engagement based in Perth, ideal for someone who has delivered similar enterprise-scale implementations, maybe with some global roll out experience who thrives in complex, fast-paced environments.

About the Role
You’ll be responsible for managing the end-to-end delivery of a high-impact HSEC technology program. From schedule and budget control to vendor management and stakeholder engagement, you’ll ensure the project is delivered on time, within scope, and to the highest quality standards.

Key Responsibilities

• Own and manage the project schedule, ensuring alignment with system implementation (SI) timelines
• Lead resource capacity planning and monthly budget reconciliation
• Manage the project Jira board and ensure team accountability
• Oversee UAT, pilot, rollout, and system handover planning
• Coordinate all SI activities, including system design and configuration
• Support the Program Manager in managing vendor deliverables and quality assurance
• Govern system environments and control migration activities
• Plan for decommissioning of legacy systems
• Build strong relationships with stakeholders to ensure alignment and buy-in

What You’ll Bring

• Experience delivering complex digital transformation projects
• Proven ability to manage vendors, budgets, schedules, and reporting
• Strong experience with both Agile and Waterfall methodologies
• Excellent communication and stakeholder engagement skills
• Ability to navigate change and drive outcomes in a dynamic environment
• Ideally, experience with HSE, Risk, or ESG technology platforms
• Bonus: Familiarity with data governance and privacy frameworks (e.g. GDPR)
