Tasman Logistics Services are looking for a Fleet Controller/All-Rounder to join our team in Elizabeth South.

We are looking for someone who can hit the ground running, is proactive, develop a great relationship with drivers and clients and thrive on ensuring customer expectations are met.

Previous experience in a Fleet Control role will be looked upon favourably, but not essential, we will provide all training for the right applicant.

Must be reliable, punctual, friendly and committed to great customer service. Must be able to rotate between shift times if required. Immediate start available.

To be considered for these positions you will need to demonstrate and provide the following:

Key responsibilities:

Liaising with and providing high quality customer service to Tasman customers and staff

Preparing drivers pick up / drop off paperwork

Answering phone calls and emails

Booking and maintaining customer deliveries

Forecasting transport requirements

Proactively check driver/delivery requirements daily

Ensuring clear communication with drivers/clients

Ensuring all jobs are recorded and general data entry is processed correctly

Work with team leaders/managers in order to sustain cohesion between all required departments

Required Skills:

Strong Computer skills – Containerchain experience favourable

Excellent written and verbal communication skills

Highly adaptable

Can-do attitude

Works well under pressure/high volumes

High level of accuracy and attention to detail

Process orientated

Flexible working hours

A team player who is willing to support colleagues and the wider business when required

Ability to prioritise, meet deadlines and time management skills

LF licence preferred

Experience in using the Containerchain TMS is desirable but not essential
