What you'll do:

 Represent clients in a range of civil matters, including court appearances and advice clinics

 Provide high-quality, culturally safe legal advice and support to Aboriginal clients

 Collaborate with legal, admin, and client service teams to achieve the best client outcomes

 Travel to remote communities to attend bush courts and community outreach

 Mentor junior lawyers and support staff as needed

 Contribute to law reform, community legal education and systemic advocacy

What we’re looking for:

✔ NT Legal Practising Certificate (or eligibility)

✔ Strong knowledge of Aboriginal culture, mental health systems, and justice issues

✔ Experience in court advocacy, particularly Local/Supreme Courts

✔ High-level communication and cultural competency

✔ Valid driver’s licence and willingness to travel to remote communities.
