About the position
We are seeking a Key Worker (Part Time) experienced allied health professional or early childhood educator with expertise in early childhood development and disability. They work closely with our therapists, following family-centred practices to support children in achieving their developmental goals. Our Key Workers work within everyday environments like home, childcare, kinder, or school. Key Workers ensure therapy naturally fits into children’s daily routines.

This role is integral to ensuring high-quality, inclusive services in alignment with Kaleidoscope Therapy Services’ values of collaboration, respect, and empowerment.

Responsibilities:
– Conduct thorough discussions with families to understand the developmental needs of the children and needs of the families.
– Implement evidence-based therapy plans tailored to each child’s goals.
– Provide individual and group therapy sessions in our clinic, schools, and community settings.
– Work closely with families to educate and empower caregivers with strategies to support therapy goals at home.
– Collaborate with therapists, early childhood teachers/workers and other professionals to ensure a consistent approach across environments.

Requirements
– Bachelor’s degree in Education (Early Childhood) or Allied Health
– Working with Children Check
– A natural ability to connect with children and engage in playful interactions
– Strong communication skills and a commitment to best-practice care
