About the role
We are seeking a part-time Female OT and Key worker to join our team at Little learners-Early intervention in Hadfield VIC 3046. This is a crucial role that will play a key part in supporting young children and their families within our early intervention services.
What you'll be doing
Providing occupational therapy assessment and intervention to support the development of young children with additional needs
Serving as a key worker, providing coordinated, family-centred support to children and their families
Collaborating with a multidisciplinary team of professionals to develop and implement individualised therapy plans
Delivering therapy sessions, both in-centre and in the community, to promote the child's functional skills and independence
Offering parent education and coaching to empower families to support their child's development at home
Maintaining accurate client records and contributing to the overall case management process
Participating in team meetings, professional development opportunities and organisational initiatives
What we're looking for
A degree in Occupational Therapy and current registration with the relevant professional body
For key worker Degree in Teaching and VIT registration.
Significant experience working with young children, particularly those with developmental delays or disabilities
Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build positive relationships with children, families and colleagues
Excellent clinical skills in assessment, goal setting, intervention planning and implementation
A collaborative, solution-focused approach and the ability to work effectively as part of a multidisciplinary team
Commitment to ongoing professional development and a desire to contribute to the growth and success of the organisation
