About the Role:

We’re on the lookout for a compassionate and community-minded Social Worker to join our brand-new clinic in Frankston, supporting our veteran (DVA) population in a truly collaborative, face-to-face setting.

You'll be working on-site alongside a passionate multidisciplinary team of Podiatrists, Physiotherapists, Dietitians, and Exercise Physiologists, helping to shape innovative services that genuinely make a difference.

You’ll deliver short-term intervention, practical support, education, and referrals to enhance the overall health and wellbeing of our veteran clients. If you’re someone who thrives in a team environment, we’d love to hear from you.

We also welcome creativity—whether it’s hosting group coffee catch-ups, organising art or music therapy sessions, or finding other innovative ways to connect and engage with veterans, this is a role where your ideas can come to life!

Key Responsibilities:

Deliver face-to-face consultations on-site every Tuesday and Friday (8am–4pm)

Provide emotional, social, and practical support to veterans

Conduct psychosocial assessments and develop action plans

Assist with paperwork, applications, and navigating services

Educate clients around available allied health supports

Work closely with other health professionals to ensure coordinated care

Foster connections within the veteran community to build rapport and trust

Develop creative engagement opportunities, such as group catch-ups or therapeutic activities

About You:

Social Work degree and AASW membership

Australian Citizen or Permanent Resident

Committed to the wellbeing of veterans and their families

Warm, empathetic, and confident in face-to-face interactions

Strong written and verbal communication skills

Basic tech proficiency and administrative efficiency
