As we continue to grow, we are looking for a dynamic and experienced Services General Manager to lead our team, drive operational excellence, and contribute to the company’s ongoing success.

The Role

As the Services General Manager, you will be responsible for overseeing the strategic and operational management of FIP Electrical Services. You will lead a skilled team, manage financial and business performance, and ensure the successful delivery of projects and services. This role requires a hands-on leader who can balance business growth with operational efficiency while maintaining our strong company culture and client relationships.

Key Responsibilities

Business Strategy & Leadership – Develop and execute strategic plans to drive growth and profitability.
Operations Management – Oversee day-to-day operations, ensuring high-quality service delivery.
Financial Oversight – Manage budgets, forecasting, and financial performance to maximise efficiency.
Project & Service Delivery – Ensure successful completion of electrical contracting projects, service work, and maintenance contracts.
Team Leadership – Lead, mentor, and develop staff, fostering a high-performance culture.
Client & Stakeholder Engagement – Build and maintain strong relationships with clients, suppliers, and industry partners.
Compliance & Safety – Ensure all work is carried out in line with regulatory and safety requirements.

About You

✔ Proven experience in a senior leadership role within the electrical contracting or construction industry.
✔ Strong business acumen with a track record of driving growth and profitability.
✔ Technical expertise in commercial electrical projects, service work, and maintenance.
✔ Exceptional leadership skills with the ability to inspire and manage teams effectively.
✔ Excellent communication and stakeholder management abilities.
✔ Understanding of industry regulations, compliance, and safety standards.
✔ Trade or tertiary qualifications in electrical or business management (highly desirable).
