We’re looking for a proactive and detail-oriented Marketing Assistant to join our high-performing marketing team as we boost enrolments for four independent schools in Sydney. Reporting to the Marketing & Communications Coordinator, you’ll play a key role in building brand awareness, promoting enrolment opportunities, and enhancing community engagement.
As part of a small, collaborative, and agile team, you’ll gain hands-on experience across a range of projects in a dynamic and purpose-driven environment. With the PARED Foundation in an exciting phase of growth, this is a great opportunity to contribute meaningfully while building your skills and growing your career in marketing.
This role is temporary part time, required to work 3 days per week for approximately 9 months to cover parental leave.
Your key responsibilities will include:
Assisting with content creation, scheduling and publishing across Facebook, Instagram, LinkedIn and YouTube
Maintaining a central content calendar and coordinate with school staff to collect timely content
Engaging with online communities (e.g. DMs, comments, mentions) and supporting community growth
Proof and provide feedback on design assets
Supporting event planning and attending key events to assist with logistics and content capture
Managing and maintaining a multimedia content library
Assisting with email marketing, website updates and school listing maintenance
Tracking and reporting on social media performance and campaign metrics
General administrative support across the Marketing and Enrolments teams
You will bring to this role:
Qualified or currently studying Marketing, Media, Communications or a related field
Strong attention to detail, organisational skills and creative flair
Confident eye for design and branding, and strong visual judgement
Familiarity with Canva and social media platforms (Instagram, Facebook, LinkedIn, YouTube) and basic video editing skills
Interest or experience in events and content creation
Excellent communication and team collaboration skills
Willingness to attend events across northwest and western Sydney
Positive, proactive and eager to learn in a fast-paced team

The successful applicant will be required to obtain and maintain a current NSW Working with Children Check and have access to a reliable vehicle and hold a current driver licence to travel between Pared School sites on occasion.
