The Opportunity:
Our client is an ambitious, fast-growing fintech that’s modernising the home loan journey from the ground up. After a successful market launch, they are scaling up, and now seeking a motivated and process-savvy Mortgage Operations Specialist to help deliver seamless experiences for borrowers, brokers, and partners across every stage of the loan cycle.
This isn’t your standard lending operations role. You’ll be working cross functionally with product, tech, credit and customer teams to uplift processes, while handling key operational tasks across settlements, servicing, customer support, collections, and discharges.
Typical duties include:
- Manage loan settlements end to end, making sure all parties are aligned and ready
- Manage inbound queries from customers and brokers post settlement
- Handle updates to customer accounts, direct debit changes, or product adjustments
- Coordinate discharges and finalise payout processes in line with compliance standards
- Monitor repayments, follow up on arrears, and support hardship processes
- Working cross functionally with the founders, product, tech and customer teams to uplift processes to ensure a seamless experience from start to finish.
So who are you?

- Previous experience within residential loan operations / mortgage settlements or a similar lending support function.
- A solid grasp of how home loans work post-approval, and the typical touchpoints with customers and brokers
- Excellent attention to detail and strong organisational skills
- Confidence working with digital systems (experience with LOS or CRM platforms is a bonus)
- A natural ability to communicate clearly and professionally
- A can-do attitude. You're proactive, solutions focused and curious about how things can be done better
