About the Role:
We're looking for an enthusiastic and customer-focused IT Support Technician to join our Joondalup-based IT team. This is a great opportunity for someone who enjoys solving technical issues, assisting users, and gaining broad exposure to IT systems in a dynamic work environment.
You’ll be the first point of contact for internal technical support, responsible for resolving basic hardware and software issues, maintaining our IT asset register, and supporting users both remotely and on-site.
This is a full time position working Monday to Thursday, 7:00 am–3:30 pm, and Fridays from 7:00 am–1:00 pm — offering early Friday finishes to support work-life balance!
Travel to local user locations is required, using a company-provided vehicle.
Key Responsibilities:
Receive and manage IT support requests through Freshdesk (phone, email, etc.)
Provide first-level technical support for computers, printers, phones, and applications
Troubleshoot Windows OS and Microsoft 365 issues
Support industry-specific software (e.g. CMS, Kitchen Design Software, Klaes, Business Micros)
Assist with user onboarding/offboarding and account management
Maintain accurate hardware/software asset register
Perform basic network troubleshooting
Travel to user sites for on-site support
Maintain documentation for recurring issues and solutions
Ensure compliance with IT policies and SLA targets
Contribute to updates of IT manuals and documentation
Assist with product and pricing updates in ERP system
Qualifications / Experience:
Required:
Entry-level IT qualification (e.g., Certificate II or III in IT)
1–2 years of experience in an IT support/helpdesk role
Strong communication and customer service skills
Practical experience with desktop/laptop setup and troubleshooting
Familiarity with Microsoft 365, remote support tools, and basic networking
Valid manual driver’s licence (essential for travel)
Preferred:
Certificate IV or higher in Information Technology (e.g. TAFE ICT qualifications)
Microsoft 365 Certification (Modern Desktop Administrator Associate)
