Driver Hire Sydney currently supply the biggest transport companies in the NSW market.We are currently looking for 1 x HR Truck Driver and 1 x HC Truck Driver for our client based in Wetherill Park, NSW. Our client is one of Australasia’s biggest suppliers of a wide range of metal products.
Duties of the role:• HR/HC Truck Driving delivering metal products • Strapping the load - the freight is loaded and unloaded for you, you just need to strap it down • Ability to work under pressure and to tight time frames• Good customer Service• Conducting pre-start inspections• Complying to Work Health and Safety (WHS) and other operational procedures• Adhere to Chain of Responsibility (CoR), Fatigue Management and Road Regulations
Requirements for the role:• HR (Heavy Rigid)/ HC (Heavy-Combination) Truck Driver’s Licence and minimum 1 year truck driving experience • Experienced in multi-drop pick-up/deliveries across Greater Sydney region• Experienced in Strapping heavy and bulky freight• Comfortable with manual handling/lifting• Physically fit• Good communication skills• Good attention to detail and high procedural compliance• Have a good Driving Record• An up-to-date Resume• Unlimited work rights in Australia• Available for an immediate start
