About the role

We are seeking an experienced HC Truck Driver to join our team at Millennial Timber Products Pty Ltd in Cameron Park, NSW. This is a casual role with approximately 20 hours per week, offering the flexibility to work hours that suit your lifestyle. As an HC Truck Driver, you will be responsible for the safe and efficient transportation of manufacture timber items our clients across the region.

We deliver as far as North to the Upper Hunter and down South to the Central Coast - no Long Hauls.

This position is perfect for the semi retired or of someone looking for a lighter workload.

We can also offer more hours of work for manual labor on our factory floor; forklift license would be needed for this area.

What you'll be doing

Operate heavy combination vehicles (such as semi-trailers) to transport timber and other goods

Conduct pre-trip and post-trip inspections to ensure the vehicle is in safe working condition

Adhere to all relevant road rules, regulations and safety procedures,

Maintain accurate records of trips, deliveries and vehicle maintenance

Provide excellent customer service to clients

What we're looking for

Hold a current Heavy Combination (HC) driver's licence

Minimum 2 years' experience operating heavy combination vehicles

Strong knowledge of road safety and compliance regulations

Excellent driving skills and attention to detail

Good communication and customer service skills

Ability to work independently and as part of a team
