About the Opportunity
We currently have an exciting opportunity to join the Paediatric Palliative Care team as a Nurse Educator, where you will be responsible for:
- Provide a range of education, training, learning experiences, and resource materials to support staff development.
- Take accountability for the outcomes of nursing/midwifery education practices and ensure alignment with policy and best practice.
- Deliver targeted education and training support to multidisciplinary teams, specific wards, units, services, community programs, or nursing/midwifery groups.
- Coordinate and lead projects, programs, or research initiatives aimed at improving educational outcomes and service delivery.
- Contribute to a safe, supportive, and positive workplace culture focused on improving patient and client outcomes.
About You
To be successful in this role, you will have:
- Registered or eligible for registration as a Nurse with the Nursing and Midwifery Board of Australia and who holds, or who is eligible to hold, a current practicing certificate.
- Innovation, creativity and flexibility that can be applied to an education setting within healthcare.
- Ability to prepare and undertake presentations of a high standard in a range of educational setting to both community and professional groups.
- Ability to develop, coordinate and deliver education programs and conduct appropriate evaluations of the programs.
- Registered Nurse with at least 3 years post registration experience.
- Demonstrated experience and skills in education or staff development.
