Right now, we’re seeking a Digital Advisor – Communications who will play their part in this shared purpose, while also supporting the progress of clients and colleagues so they can achieve great things. About the role
The Digital Advisor – Communications will play a key role in shaping and enhancing the TAC’s digital communications and marketing presence. You will be responsible for managing and optimising the TAC’s social media channels, eDMs, and websites, helping to build audience engagement, amplify key initiatives, reinforce road safety messaging, and support individuals impacted by road trauma.
About the Team
You will join the Communications, Media & Digital branch within the Community division, a team committed to engaging, educating, and influencing the Victorian community, stakeholders, and TAC staff. Together, they work to ensure the TAC is trusted, fosters a safety-first road culture, and delivers the best outcomes for clients.
The team is structured with a Team Manager, Digital Advisor – Communications, Digital Advisor – Websites and Digital Advisor – Insights & Analytics, creating a close-knit and supportive environment. Embracing an open and transparent management style, the team benefits from strong collaboration and encourages continuous communication. Management recognises each team member's unique motivators and adapts to their individual work styles, ensuring personalised support and engagement.
What we’re looking for
Digital Communications Specialist
You hold relevant tertiary qualifications and bring 5+ years of experience in digital communication strategies, content marketing, and social media management. You’re proficient with mainstream social platforms, CMS tools, and eDM systems, and can use analytics to drive continuous improvement.
Skilled Stakeholder Partner
You are confident in building strong relationships with internal teams and external creative agencies. As a trusted advisor and subject matter expert, you provide strategic digital guidance and ensure all content aligns with audience needs and business goals.
Project Management Expertise
You have excellent project and time management skills, with the ability to meet tight deadlines and efficiently deliver multiple projects with a high level of quality and professionalism.
