Firebird in Prahan is on the lookout for an experienced restaurant supervisor to help fill our ranks.

We proudly champion internal promotion, but we find ourselves in the rare position where we are looking to hire an experienced external legend.

We are a fast paced, modern Australian-Viet restaurant on High Street, in the heart of Prahan/Windsor.

We are looking for someone who has experience in supervising or managing shifts, who is able to hit the ground running.

Ideal candidates will have:

6months minimum experience in running shifts in a restaurant setting

Excellent communication skills

An infectiously positive and motivated demeanor when working on the floor

Outstanding service skills and product knowledge

A next level ability to connect with guests and team members

A genuine obsession for world class hospitality

Other considerations:

Familiar with timesheet approval (Deputy) and labour management

Ability to use effective management techniques to train staff

Excellent cash handling skills

Ability to use basic spreadsheets and communicate effectively through online software

A wide product knowledge in hospitality from food/cooking techniques to classic cocktails and a knowledge of Australian wine.
