ABOUT THE COMPANY.

Join a well-established structural facade engineering firm based in Sydney. They specialise in commercial, residential, government, and other related projects. With over 40 years in the global industry, they are known for their innovative and fast-forward approach and hold strong ties to the public sector. Due to their strong pipeline, they are seeking an experienced Facade Engineer to join their passionate and high-performing team.

ABOUT THE POSITION.

This full-time position will provide the opportunity to work on a wide range of complex projects from small residential projects to large commercial projects that are worth over $200M. You will be playing a key role in drafting the aluminium and glass facade system including curtain walls, windows, shopfronts, and cladding. You'll collaborate with a dynamic team of Architects, Builders, and Engineers to ensure smooth project coordination. You will also support waterproofing design and performance solutions for thermal, structural, and weather resistance.

DUTIES.

• Create 2D and 3D drawings and fabrication details on AutoCAD
• Support design and documentation of bespoke, architectural projects
• Attend Project meetings
• Ensure code compliance and buildability reviews
• Waterproofing reports and thermal analysis
• Coordinate façade systems with focus on performance materials, and envelope integration

SKILLS AND EXPERIENCE.

• Bachelor’s degree of Engineering or similar field
• Previous experience in façade engineering
• Proficiency in AutoCAD, REVIT, Strand7, THERM, WINDOW, and CHECKWIND
• Strong verbal and written communication
