About the Role
You’ll be the lead on facade design projects - taking full ownership of the structural design, specifications, compliance documentation and client coordination. The role is highly collaborative, with weekly knowledge-sharing and close mentorship from a Director with deep fabrication and engineering roots.

Key Responsibilities:

• Assist the Managing Director with project delivery across timeframes, scope, quality and efficiency
• Prepare and review structural and facade engineering reports, specifications and calculations
• Sign off projects under the NSW DBP Act (or equivalents in other states), including team handovers or redeclarations
• Respond to client feedback and review documentation for compliance
• Support internal system and engineering process improvements
• Ensure all design documentation accurately reflects structural requirements
• Contribute to high-quality delivery and uphold professional standards
• Provide mentorship and support to junior engineers
• Maintain strict office filing, documentation and delivery procedures

About You:

• Ideally 10–15+ years experience in facade or structural engineering
• Background in consulting – comfortable in a client-facing role
• AutoCAD proficiency is a must; Strand7 or similar software experience ideal
• Honest, team-first mindset – values transparency and collaboration
• Based in Sydney
• DBP registration not essential up front – support provided where applicable
