ABOUT THE POSITION.

We are seeking a skilled and motivated Civil Stormwater Engineer to join their dynamic team. This full-time position offers an opportunity to work on a variety of projects, from residential developments to large-scale commercial, educational, and aged care initiatives, focusing on effective stormwater management and compliance with environmental regulations.

DUTIES.

• Design and model stormwater drainage systems using industry-standard software
• Develop plans and specifications for drainage systems, detention/retention basins, and other stormwater control features
• Collaborate with council, construction teams, and other stakeholders to coordinate stormwater management projects
• Ensure compliance with relevant standards related to stormwater management
• Monitor and inspect stormwater facilities to ensure proper functioning and compliance with regulations

SKILLS AND EXPERIENCE.

• Bachelor's degree in Civil Engineering or a related field
• Proven experience in stormwater engineering within the Australian market
• Proficiency in stormwater software (e.g., DRAINS, MUSIC, HECRAS, TUFLOW, Civil 3D)
• Strong understanding of Australian stormwater regulations and standards
• Excellent communication and teamwork skills
• Ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously and meet deadlines
