About the position:

You will be the face of American Express visiting existing small-medium sized merchants within the Retail, Lodging and Restaurant industry in an allocated territory. With your excellent customer service skills, you will be responsible for strengthening merchant relationships, reinforcing brand value, and ensuring American Express services, signage, and messaging are maximised. Your role will focus on delivering a personalised account management experience and driving AMEX acceptance to encourage a positive experience.

This role will include:

Ensure that the American Express services, signage, merchandise, and message is being maximised across all Merchants.

A designated cluster of merchants to allow you to focus your attention.

During this campaign, you will conduct targeted merchant visits, engaging business owners/ managers to raise awareness of key marketing initiatives and promotional campaigns.

Collecting merchant feedback and insights to provide American Express an understanding of how best to support the needs and requirements of small merchants within Australia.

About you:

Must have a car and license (this is essential) as you will no longer have to sit in an office!

Self-motivated with a positive attitude.

Effective planners with the ability to manage time efficiently with minimal supervision.

Can empathise and provide solutions to any challenges encountered.

Exceptional customer service skills.

Ability to build and develop effective and lasting relationships with all levels of staff
