About the role

We’re looking for a motivated individual to join our team as a Client Service Officer & Paraplanner. Initially a part-time role, we intend for the role to expand to a full time load within a year.

This is a hands-on position designed to build your technical and client service capabilities, with a view to progressing into an Associate Adviser (and beyond) role over time.

The successful candidate will ideally have the following skills and attributes:

A completed or in-progress Bachelor’s degree in Financial Planning (or a related field)

Strong written and verbal communication skills with an ability to communicate with clarity and fluency

Proficiency with Microsoft Office

Must be legally able to work in Australia

No prior experience with financial planning software (e.g. Xplan) is required — training will be provided.

You will support our advisers with a range of administrative and paraplanning tasks while developing a deep understanding of the advice process and the tools we use. Your duties will include, but are not limited to:

Preparation of documents (Records of Advice, Statements of Advice, Portfolio Reports, etc.)

Financial modelling (cost comparisons, performance comparisons, capital longevity projections)

Administration and record keeping

Liaising with clients and product providers
