Position summary

We are seeking a dedicated and experienced Waiter Supervisor to oversee operations and ensure a high standard of customer service in our dining establishment. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in food and beverage service, leadership capabilities, and excellent interpersonal skills.

Roles and Responsibilities

· Supervise and coordinate the daily activities of waitstaff to ensure efficient and professional service.

· Train, mentor, and support waiters to uphold service standards and procedures.

· Monitor staff performance, conduct briefings, and manage shift rosters.

· Resolve customer complaints and service-related issues promptly and professionally.

· Liaise with kitchen and bar staff to ensure timely and accurate delivery of food and beverages.

· Maintain cleanliness and orderliness of the dining area.

· Assist in onboarding new staff and ensure compliance with health, safety, and hygiene standards.

· Keep records of staff attendance, sales, and feedback to assist with operational improvements.

· Support management with stock control, ordering, and reporting tasks as needed.

Requirements

· Minimum experience of at least 1 year in a supervisory or senior service role.

· Knowledge of food and beverage service standards and techniques.

· Proficient in POS systems and cash handling procedures.
