Katherine Country Club is located in the township of Katherine in the Northern Territory which is a 3.5-hour drive south of Darwin.

We are looking for “Experienced” Bar & Gaming Attendant & supervisor (TAB, Keno & Poker Machines).

Good Full Time Salary, Subsidised Housing and working in a great Small to Medium sized Club. 45 EGM's (Poker Machines), 2 Bars, TAB, Keno, Bistro, with a 9-hole Golf Course and a new Bowling Green.

About the Role

As Bar Supervisor, you’ll be a key part of the venue’s success, ensuring smooth service, high standards, and an awesome atmosphere for both locals and visitors. Your role will involve:

Leading the Team – Direct and support bar staff, ensuring efficient service and teamwork.

Venue Operations – Oversee daily bar operations, stock control, and compliance with RSA, RSG, and licensing laws.

Customer Experience – Engage with patrons, build rapport, and ensure every guest has a great experience.

Cash Handling & Reconciliation – Manage daily takings, process EFTPOS and cash transactions, and balance tills.

Event & Promo Management – Assist in planning and running events, promotions, and themed nights.

General Bar Duties – Serve drinks, handle customer queries, and maintain high standards of cleanliness and safety.

Problem-Solving – Address customer concerns, manage incidents, and ensure a smooth, drama-free environment.

What We’re Looking For

Must have's: RSA, RCG and a working experience in a busy Bar / Gaming environment with the ability to get an NT Machine Managers Licence & Police check.

Bar & Pokies experience is a MUST!

Current Driver's License and own vehicle is a MUST!

Be prepared to work dayshifts, Nights, Weekends & Public Holidays.

Be physically fit and can work in a hot climate.

Inside is air-conditioned but outside can get very hot, a good knowledge and speech of the English language is also required.
