We are Consolidated Lay Group Pty Ltd ATF Consolidated Lay Trust (trading as Waterfront Bistro-Darwin Sailing Cub and the Rusty Putter Bistro).

1. Cook - $65,200-$70,000per annum, salary commensurate with responsibilities and experience.

As a cook, you will be an integral part of our kitchen team, responsible for preparing high-quality dishes that meet our exacting standards. Your creativity, attention to detail, and dedication to culinary perfection will help us maintain our reputation as one of the best dining establishments in the area.

Key duties and responsibilities:

· Prepare and cook a variety of dishes, including appetisers, entrees, and desserts, following established recipes and presentation guidelines.

· Ensure that all food is cooked to the appropriate temperature and meets food safety standards.

· Maintain a clean, organised, and efficient workspace, including proper storage and labelling of ingredients.

· Collaborate with the Head Chef and the kitchen team to develop new menu items, and specials.

· Monitor inventory levels and assist with ordering and receiving supplies.

· Adhere to all health and safety regulations, including proper handling and storage of food, cleaning and sanitising equipment, and personal hygiene practices.

· Assist with training new kitchen staff and provide guidance and support as needed.

· Contribute to a positive and collaborative tea, environment, including effective communication and teamwork.

2. Waiter (Waitstaff) - $65,200-$70,000 per annum, salary commensurate with responsibilities and experience

As a waiter, you are responsible for ensuring customers are served in a professional and timely manner.

Key duties and responsibilities:

Setting and arranging tables

Greeting customers and presenting them with menus

Taking orders and relaying them to kitchen

Serving food

Clearing tables and returning dishes and cutlery to kitchen

Collecting payments for sales and operating point of sales machines and cash registers

3. Chef - $76,600-$78,000 per annum, salary commensurate with responsibilities and experience

As a chef, you are responsible for creating memorable culinary experiences for customers in our establishments. You will work closely with our Head Chef, cooks and other kitchen staff to ensure that each plate leaving the kitchen is a masterpiece.

Key duties and responsibilities:

· preparing for service, which includes ensuring the kitchen is well stocked with the necessary ingredients, as well as cleaning, cutting and marinating food

· cooking and serving food, while coordinating with other kitchen staff and wait staff

· maintaining the cleanliness and tidiness of the kitchen

Explaining and enforcing hygiene regulations

· creating new dishes and planning menus

· ensuring that dishes meet high standards at all stages of preparation and presentation

Planning menus, estimating food and labour costs, and ordering food supplies

Demonstrating techniques and advising on cooking procedures

4. Pastrycook - $65,200-$70,000 per annum, salary commensurate with responsibilities and experience

As a pastrycook, you will specialize in creating desserts, pastries, and other baked goods we will be serving at the bistro and the bistro café.

They are responsible for ensuring the quality of ingredients, maintaining equipment, and creating recipes.

Key duties and responsibilities:

· Prepare a wide variety of goods such as cakes, cookies, pies, breads etc.

· Follow traditional and modern recipes to meet the establishment’s quality standards

· Measure and combine ingredients using mixers, blenders, heat sources, and other equipment to make baked goods.

Decorate pastries and desserts to ensure the presentation is beautiful and exciting

Maintain a clean and tidy working area

Follow all food safety procedures

Order, receive, and store supplies in proper conditions

Perform tests to ensure the dough or batter is mixed to the right consistency.

5. Hospitality Worker - $65,200-$70,000 per annum, salary commensurate with responsibilities and experience

As a hospitality worker, you will be undertaking hospitality, customer service and related venue functions.

Key duties and responsibilities:

· General customer service.

· Taking reservations, greeting and seating guests, and presenting them with menus and beverage lists.

· Setting and arranging tables and buffets.

· Taking food orders.

· Collecting payments for sales and operating EFTPOS and cash registers.

6. General Clerk - $65,200-$70,000 per annum, salary commensurate with responsibilities and experience

General clerks perform a wide range of administrative duties to ensure the efficient operation of an office or department. Responsibilities include maintaining records, managing correspondence, scheduling appointments, and providing general office support.

Key duties and responsibilities:

· Recording, preparing, sorting, classifying and filling information.

· Sorting, opening, and sending email

· Photocopying reports of a routine nature

· Recording issue of equipment to staff

· Receiving letters and telephone messages

· Transcribing information onto computers, and proofreading and correcting copy

· May provide customers with information and services

7. Barista - - $65,200-$70,000 per annum, salary commensurate with responsibilities and experience

As a barista, your main responsibility is to mix and serve hot and cold beverages for guests.

Key duties and responsibilities

· Give customers drink menus and answer their questions regarding ingredients

· Take orders while paying attention to details (e.g. preferences of coffee blend, dairy and sugar ratios)

· Prepare beverages following recipes

· Serve beverages and prepared food, like cookies, pastries and muffins

· Receive and process payments (cash and credit cards)

· Keep the bar area clean

· Maintain stock of clean mugs and plates

· Check if brewing equipment operates properly and report any maintenance needs

· Comply with health and safety regulations

· Communicate customer feedback to managers and recommend new menu items.

Applicants must be experienced and able to work in a fast-paced multi-cultural environment with efficiency.
