Your role

As a Warehouse Storeperson in the Air Force, you’ll work in a fast-moving team to ensure the ADF and its members have everything needed to run smoothly. In this rewarding and varied role, you’ll be responsible for procurement, storage, stock control, inventory management, physical distribution of materiel, and sustained logistics system support.

Your duties may include:

managing the supply computer database and statutory accounts

processing of base demands for general stores and aircraft spares

purchasing, raising of purchase orders, processing of invoices, and budget management

operating forklifts in the movement, loading and unloading of stores

physical receipt, storage, picking, packaging, despatch and transportation of inventory and assets

equipment liaison, acting as the supply interface between maintenance staff and logistics support units

supply administration including tracking stock and actioning supply reports

using information systems to complete the receipt, issue, and ordering of equipment.

Upon completion of initial military and employment training, you will enjoy a salary package starting from $79,615.

Location

Following training, you may be posted to one of the major Air Force bases around Australia, such as RAAF Base Amberley, Williamtown, or Edinburgh.

For this role, you must be at least 17 at the time of enlistment, an Australian Citizen, and have passed Year 10 with Maths and English as mandatory subjects.
