Position: First Nations Business Traineeship
This is a contract opportunity: 12 months full-time | Paid Traineeship | Certificate III in Business
This is an Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander Identified role. Are you a motivated and customer-focused individual ready to start your professional journey in the world of finance and business? MEGT is partnering with a Nationwide Client, to offer an exciting 12-month First Nations Business Traineeship! This will give you the chance to learn the ins and outs of Business and Finance, while working towards a nationally recognised qualification!
🧠What You'll Do
As a First Nations Business Trainee your duties will include (but not limited to):
- Deliver exceptional customer service via phone, email and face to face
- Engage in needs-based conversations and educating customers on several aspects of finance
- Build Rapport and credibility with customers, Clearly articulate digital options available for customers, resolving initial enquiries and directing matters to internal stakeholders if required
- Work in a busy call center environment answering calls, digital filing, data entry and maintaining internal database systems
✅ What We're Looking For
- Strong verbal communication and a professional phone manner, with high attention to detail, ability to multi task and have great problem-solving skills
- A team player who takes initiative and direction well, has an enthusiastic attitude, is punctual, reliable and committed to learning
- Previous customer service, administrative/reception, or data entry experience
- Tech savvy, proficiency in MS Word and MS Excel and eager to learn new IT systems (is a MUST)
- Identify as Aboriginal and/or Torres Strait Islander (is a MUST)
- Ability to pass a National Police Check prior to employment (is a MUST)
