About the role

We are seeking an experienced Project Manager to join our team at Storcad Pty Limited in Katoomba, NSW. As a full-time Project Manager, you will be responsible for managing the successful delivery of self-storage fit out projects, ensuring they are completed on time, within budget, and to the highest quality standards.

What you'll be doing

Developing and implementing project plans, including programs, budgets, and resource allocation

Project estimation

Material Procurement

Coordinating and monitoring the work of contractors, subcontractors, and other team members to ensure project milestones are met

Identifying and managing project risks, and implementing mitigation strategies

Communicating regularly with clients, stakeholders, and team members to provide updates and resolve issues

Ensuring projects comply with relevant regulations, policies, and safety standards

Continuously seeking opportunities to improve project management processes and efficiencies

Regular interstate travel will be required

Previous experience in Contract Administration would be an advantage but not essential.

Successful applicant will be based at our Katoomba office.

What we're looking for

5+ years of experience in a project management role, preferably in the self-storage or construction industry

Strong technical knowledge of construction practices, materials, and equipment

Excellent problem-solving, decision-making, and conflict resolution skills

Proficiency in project management software and tools, such as MS Project

Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to effectively liaise with clients, stakeholders, and team members

A relevant tertiary qualification in Project Management, Construction Management, or a related field

A proven track record of delivering construction projects on time and within budget
