Join a team that delivers smart, efficient procurement and purchasing across council. We're looking for a practical, organised Procurement Officer to support staff with contracts, procurement and day-to-day purchasing.
Working as part of a supportive and knowledgeable team, this is a fantastic opportunity for skills enhancement and professional growth.
Key responsibilities
Support staff with purchasing processes and system queries (OneCouncil)
Manage council’s procurement portal (VendorPanel) and contractor records
Assist with tenders, contracts and supplier arrangements
Provide advice on procurement rules and procedures
Monitor stationery, printing and related budgets
Deliver training and support on procurement processes
Help maintain accurate records and systems
About you
Experience in procurement, purchasing and/or finance
Good understanding of procurement principles
Strong communication and problem-solving skills
Organised and able to manage competing priorities
Comfortable working independently and in a team
What we offer you
Base salary between $75,071.65 and $86,731.41 will be offered (dependent on skills and experience) + 12.5% superannuation
Permanent/full-time
