ASP1 Company Wilken Service Pty Ltd based in Sydney are looking for experienced Cable Jointers with substation fitting experience to join our team. This position offers an immediate start and involves all aspects of High and Low voltage Cable jointing.

As well-established company in the Sydney market, some of our projects include Private HV market, electrical contracting & engineering, street lighting, HV & level 1 supply and installation.

The successful applicant must possess the following:

Essential qualifications:

White Card

Current Driver’s Licence

Completed Certificate III in ESI-Power Systems – Distribution Cable Jointing

Electrical Safety training for Ausgrid & Endeavour Energy authorisations/ Previous accreditation as a Level 1 ASP worker (Wilken to provide trianing if required)

Minimum 2 years of work experience as a jointer

Strong understanding of WHS obligations

Basic computer skills for use with a tablet/laptop using windows/Microsoft

Available to travel if required.

Desired Qualifications:

Paper-lead jointing experience

HV switching

Work Conditions:

Full time permenant position with EBA rates

Superannuation

Hourly rate from $55-$65 per hour depending on experience

40 hr week (save 2hrs to RDO)

4 weeks annual leave per year

RDO once a month

Rain days

Successful applicants are supplied Personal Protective Equipment (PPE) – safety boots, hard hat, Hi-Vis ARC rated clothing
