We are seeking a skilled and experienced Stainless-Steel Metal Fabricator/Welder to join our growing team. The successful candidate will be responsible for interpreting engineering drawings, fabricating metal components, and performing various welding processes to create high-quality products. Read and interpret engineering drawings, blueprints, and specifications to determine layout, sequence of operations, and materials required.

· Measure, cut, bend, shape, and assemble metal components using a variety of tools and equipment (e.g., press brakes, shears, grinders, drills).

· Perform various welding processes, including but not limited to:

o MIG (GMAW)

o TIG (GTAW)

o Stick (SMAW)

· Inspect welds for quality, integrity, and adherence to specifications.

· Grind, finish, and polish fabricated components as required.

· Operate and maintain welding equipment and other fabrication tools safely and effectively.

· Perform quality checks and inspections to ensure fabricated components meet design specifications and quality standards.

· Adhere to all company safety policies and procedures, including the use of personal protective equipment (PPE).

· Collaborate effectively with team members, supervisors, and other departments.

About You:

· Proven experience as with ferrous and non-ferrous Metal Fabrication and Welding, with a strong portfolio of completed projects.

· Formal qualification in fabrication, welding, or a related trade [e.g., Cert III in Engineering – Fabrication Trade (Heavy/Light Fabrication), relevant trade papers].

· Proficiency in reading and interpreting technical drawings and blueprints.

· Expertise in various welding techniques (MIG, TIG, Stick) and a strong understanding of their applications.

· Familiarity with a range of fabrication tools and machinery.

· Strong understanding of metal properties and characteristics.

· High attention to detail and a commitment to producing high-quality work.

· Excellent problem-solving skills and the ability to troubleshoot.

· Demonstrated commitment to workplace health and safety.

· Maintain a clean and organized work area.

· Ability to work independently and as part of a team.

· Good communication skills.

· Any further licence is desirable but not essential skills, e.g., Forklift licence.
