About the job

Working 7am-3:30pm Monday-Friday your job will include:

Working with brass, copper, mild steel, stainless steel & aluminium

TIG Welding

MIG Welding

Sheet fabrication

Profile fabrication

Grinding and blending your own welds

Responsibilities

Reading architectural, technical and shop drawings

Preparing material orders

Provide feedback to your production manager about job progress

Working to tight but fair timeframes

Quality Control

Small amount of site measurement and/or installation (majority of our work is factory-based)

Role requirements:

TIG Welding experience essential. You will be tested as part of a trial.

Hands on experience and knowledge of architectural metalwork fabrication

The ability to work to tolerances of +/- 1mm

Attention to detail with a focus on high-quality standards
