About the role

Raven Tanks' is seeking an experienced On-Site Crew Leader to join our dynamic team in our Brisbane office. In this casual role, you will be responsible for leading and coordinating our on-site construction crews, ensuring projects are delivered to the highest standards within tight timeframes. This is a crucial position that plays a vital part in the success of our growing business.

What you'll be doing

Oversee and direct the activities of on-site construction crews to ensure projects are completed on time, within budget and to Raven Tanks' quality standards

Allocate tasks and responsibilities to crew members, monitor their progress, and provide guidance and support as needed

Liaise with project managers, clients and other stakeholders to provide updates, address concerns and problem-solve issues that arise

Ensure compliance with all relevant health, safety and environmental regulations

Identify opportunities for process improvements and recommend changes to increase efficiency

Foster a positive, collaborative team environment and promote a strong safety culture

What we're looking for

Experience as a construction foreperson, site supervisor or leadership of a small crew, in the construction industry

Strong leadership and people management skills, with the ability to motivate and direct crews

Excellent problem-solving and decision-making abilities, with a focus on finding practical solutions

Thorough understanding of construction methods, materials, and safety procedures

Effective communication and interpersonal skills to liaise with various stakeholders

Ability to work well under pressure and adapt to changing priorities

Relevant construction qualifications or certifications
