Our Disability Division provides valuable support to the South Australian community through direct service delivery, inclusion policy and sector reform work. As a registered NDIS provider, they supervise and help with everyday tasks to support people living with disability to live as independently as possible. The division also encompasses quality and clinical services and the DHS Equipment Program.
The Clinical Support Officer is a role within the DHS Equipment Program and is accountable to the Clinical Support Lead for:
providing high quality clinical advice about equipment and home modification issues to clients, prescribers and staff of the DHS Equipment Program
undertaking all aspects of projects relating to the Equipment Program
managing and developing content for the Equipment Program website
contributing to the ongoing improvement of the agency's services.

Role Status: Term up to 31/05/2026.
Essential Qualifications:
The incumbent must have an appropriate degree or equivalent qualification which entitles registration as an Occupational Therapist or Physiotherapist.
The incumbent must have full registration with either the Occupational Therapy Board of Australia or the Physiotherapy Board of Australia and maintain current registration.
