We’re looking for an enthusiastic and committed Assistant Manager to join and lead our Front Office team at Holiday Inn & Suites Bondi Junction by IHG. You'll play a vital role in delivering exceptional guest experiences and helping create a warm, welcoming, and guest-focused environment.

Your day-to-day:
Support daily front office operations, ensuring smooth check-ins, check-outs, and guest satisfaction
Lead, train, and support the Front Office team, fostering a collaborative and guest-first culture
Manage rostering and ensure adequate coverage during peak times
Resolve guest concerns promptly and professionally
Work closely with other departments, especially housekeeping and reservations, to deliver a seamless guest experience
Oversee billing, payments, and adherence to credit procedures
Maintain a high standard of presentation, ensuring team members are in uniform and delivering service with genuine warmth
Monitor room allocations, manage special requests, and accommodate VIP guests
Uphold safety, security, and hotel policies at all times
Provide leadership, coaching, and support to your team, helping them grow and succeed
Handle any maintenance issues by reporting faults promptly
What we’re looking for:
1-2 years of Front Office leadership experience in a hotel environment
Proficiency with OPERA (essential) and general administration (Microsoft Office)
Strong organisational skills with the ability to multitask and remain calm under pressure
Exceptional communication skills and the ability to connect with guests from all walks of life
A genuine passion for hospitality and delivering memorable guest experiences
Flexibility to work various shifts, including mornings, evenings, weekends, and public holidays
A valid RSA Certificate (essential)
Full, unrestricted Australian working rights
