Qualifications
Previous experience in office management, executive assistance, or a similar role
Exceptional organisational skills, excellent time-management, and attention to detail
Strong communication and people skills — friendly, professional, solutions-focused, and ability to liaise effectively with both team members and customers
Proficiency in Microsoft Office; experience with MYOB, Xero, SAP B1, and payroll-related software
Ability to juggle multiple priorities and work both independently and as part of a team
Comfortable working in a fast-paced, trade or construction-related environment
A positive attitude and a collaborative, team-oriented approach
Key Responsibilities
Manage all aspects of office administration including reception, filing, document control, and supplies
Support coordination between the sales team, warehouse/distribution staff, suppliers, and management team
Liaise with external suppliers and service providers as needed
Lead with payroll coordination, accounts payable/receivable, and invoicing support (in conjunction with our bookkeeper)
Work closely with external accountants to manage monthly, quarterly, and annual financial reporting requirements.
Maintain accurate HR records, WHS documents, and compliance registers
Foster a positive office environment
Oversee the recruitment process, including onboarding and training of new staff.
Assign responsibilities to team members and monitor performance, to ensure alignment with company goals and performance expectations
