UX / UI Designer - Mobile and Web - Melbourne

$80K – $110K + Super (according to experience) | Hybrid work (3 days office / 2 days WFH)

Join the team at award-winning app design and development agency, DreamWalk. We are a boutique agency with a great mix of clients from startups through to big name brands.

As a UX/UI Designer at DreamWalk you will be responsible for working with our clients to scope out and design commercially viable products - from workshopping to wireframing to UI concepts and then high fidelity development-ready designs.

🔍 What You’ll Do

Facilitate and participate in design workshops with clients

Design low, mid and high fidelity UX wireframes

Produce branding and UI concepts

Design high fidelity UI for mobile and web apps

Produce beautiful app prototypes (both non-functional prototypes using Figma and occasionally functional prototypes using no-code / AI tools)

Work with our in-house local development team to bring your designs to life and ensure our high quality visual standards are met

Note: this role is very much about being on the tools, producing beautiful development-ready designs.

💡 About You

Someone who is a good fit for this role will:

Have 3+ years of mobile UX/UI design experience

Have extensive experience with Figma

Have a strong portfolio of mobile UX/UI projects

Bonus points for experience creating lottie animations using Adobe After Effects

Be an excellent communicator (verbal and written)

Have high attention to detail

Be able to manage their time well and work with little oversight

Be comfortable with rapid context switching and managing competing priorities

Be a well-rounded person who cares about doing great work
