Murrumbidgee Local Health District (MLHD) are looking for a motivated, enthusiastic and passionate Occupational Therapist who is ready for a new adventure. As the Occupational Therapist, you will be able to provide plan and deliver comprehensive, high quality patient care to our regional Griffith communities. This is your opportunity to step into a position where you work collaboratively with a lovely allied health team and no two days are the same. About the role:

Join a high performing multidisciplinary team, where you will provide high level Occupational Therapy services to promote the health and wellbeing of clients and patients with specialist knowledge in a clinical area or a high level of broad generalist knowledge.

As the Occupational Therapist, you will be responsible for:

  • delivering comprehensive Occupational Therapy services, predominantly in rehabilitation in the inpatient and outpatient settings.
  • Working collaboratively within a multidisciplinary team to optimise the health care and wellbeing of each client and their loved ones.
  • Supporting complex cases with a variety of challenges and considerations to navigate

About You

Our ideal candidate will demonstrate:

  • An in-depth understanding and ability to provide Occupational Therapy services in a curious and empathetic way
  • Tertiary Qualifications in Occupational Therapy and with AHPRA Registration
  • High level of professionalism with ability to work independently and as part of a large team
  • Exemplary communication skills, both written and verbal
  • Ability to manage a diverse workload and prioritise services where necessary
