On-site Village Facilities Manager role - Full-Time Perm - Gold Coast

Our client is an international and well-established accomodation provider that are seeking an on-site Facilities Manager to join their Gold Coast team.

Your new role

As the on-site Village Facilities Manager, reporting to the Village Director, you will provide and support the management of the delivery of day-to-day and long-term facility management across the Village. The Facilities Manager is also responsible for the leadership, recruitment, development and performance of the Property Services Coordinator/s at the Village. Further, this role consists of a significant portion of hands-on repairs and maintenance work that the Facilities Manager will be required to complete.

Key accountabilities:

• Managing hard and soft facilities services
• Reactive and preventative maintenance management for the village
• Quarterly inspections of residents' apartments
• Asset Management - creation and management of the Asset Life Cycle Plan
• Contractor management
• Risk & Safety Management
• Stakeholder management - managing relationships and communicating with the internal team, residents and suppliers
• Perform on-site duties for CLV for assigned project work
  
• Coordinating and/or completing Defect Liability Period work where applicable
  
• Regular reporting - weekly, monthly, quarterly and annual Contributions

What you'll need to succeed

• Demonstrated Facilities Management or Facilities or Maintenance Coordination experience, managing maintenance schedules and life cycle costing plans.
  
• Property maintenance or trades experience will be highly regarded
  
• Previous experience managing or supervising a team
  
• Strong communication skills
  
• Strong stakeholder management skills or customer service skills
  
• Strong organisation, time management and prioritisation skills
  

What you'll get in return

• Full-time permanent role
  
• Salary package between $95k - $110k inclusive of super, depending on experience
