About the Role

We are looking for a dedicated tradesperson to join our team as a carpenter, immediate start available operating Monday - Saturday. The position is based in the Sydney Metropolitan area, with many different duties to perform. Ideal position for an individual who wishes to be challenged.

Duties will include the following:

Carry out all aspects of Carpentry trade work in Residential and Commercial projects

The ability to read and interpret working plans and specifications

Able to carry out site set-outs

Construct building frameworks, including walls, floors, door frames, roofs, etc.

Build cabinetry and joinery as specified

Install structures and fixtures

Inspect and replace damaged structures and fixtures

Work within a team or unsupervised

Excellent planning, time management, and communication skills

Completion & recording of work site diaries/logs

Requirements for the Role

As a demanding position, you will be required to be able to meet the following:

Trade qualified preferable

Prior experience in a similar position

Clean drivers licence

Valid White Card

Ability to undergo a D&A check

Able to maintain a neat & tidy appearance at all times.

Excellent written & verbal communication skills

At least 2-3 years full-time work experience in a similar role
