Baker – Key Responsibilities:

Prepare, mix, knead, shape, and bake a variety of breads, rolls, and savoury baked goods according to set recipes and quality standards

Operate and monitor commercial bakery equipment such as mixers, ovens, and proofing units

Maintain strict adherence to production schedules and daily output requirements

Ensure all products meet quality, presentation, and portion standards

Monitor ingredient levels and report shortages or maintenance needs

Follow food safety, hygiene, and health & safety regulations at all times

Maintain clean, organised workstations, equipment, and storage areas

Collaborate with team members to optimise production processes and product quality

Pastry Chef – Key Responsibilities:

Produce a variety of high-quality pastries, cakes, desserts, and sweet-baked products

Operate pastry equipment and tools with precision, including mixers, ovens, and finishing utensils

Decorate, glaze, and finish products to meet visual and quality expectations

Adhere to recipes, portion control, and production guidelines to ensure consistency

Manage ingredient preparation, storage, and stock levels efficiently

Maintain strict food safety, hygiene, and workplace health & safety standards

Keep work areas, equipment, and production zones clean and well-organised

Assist with product innovation, seasonal offerings, and menu development as required

Work collaboratively with the team to meet production schedules and quality standards

About You:

✔️ Minimum of 2 years relevant, hands-on industry experience (essential)
✔️ Relevant trade qualifications (preferred, but not mandatory for experienced candidates)
✔️ Solid technical skills in either bread production or pastry preparation
✔️ Ability to work efficiently in fast-paced, high-volume environments
✔️ Reliable, motivated, and committed to quality and teamwork
✔️ Currently residing in Australia – 482 Visa Sponsorship available for onshore candidates only
