Unified Electronic Solutions is a leader in electronic security systems. We’re based in Cheltenham and serve clients across Melbourne, specialising in the installation, servicing, and maintenance of electronic security solutions for Government, Education, Corporate, Commercial, and Retail sectors.
The Role: As a Electronic Security Systems Engineer at Unified Electronic Solutions, you will:
Play a hands-on role in installing, servicing, and maintaining advanced security systems for our diverse client base, primarily in the Melbourne CBD.
Pre-stage security and IT equipment in our lab before it gets deployed on site.
Develop expertise in large-scale commercial environments by performing routine servicing, ongoing maintenance, and system upgrades.
Work with industry-leading platforms such as Gallagher, Inner Range, Milestone, and Genetec, ensuring smooth operations.
Who You Are:
Passionate and Willing to Learn: You’re motivated to develop your skills and take on new challenges.
Required Experience:
Familiarity with installing, maintaining, programming and upgrading systems like Gallagher, Inner Range, Milestone, or Genetec.
High level system programming of these systems, including programming from scratch, multi site, federation, HLI's etc.
Experience with SQL and other database engines.
Familiarity with IT equipment (servers and workstations) to maximise functionality and system tools
Experience with network setup, configuration and modifications
Professional & Adaptable: You bring a flexible approach, a professional appearance, and a positive attitude that adds value to a cohesive team environment.
Tech-Savvy: Advanced proficiency in Microsoft Office and IP networks.
Certified & Licensed: Holding a security registration, cabling licence, and a valid driver’s licence is required.
Eligible to Work: You must have the right to work in Australia (Australian citizenship or Permanent Residency).
