About the role

We currently have a vacancy for a fulltime experienced Security Installation Technician to join the team, you'll be responsible for the installation, maintenance and repair of security systems and equipment. You will play a critical part in ensuring the safety and security of our clients' premises.

Your duties will involve but not be limited to:

Installing, programming, testing and commissioning security systems such as CCTV, access control, intruder alarms and related equipment

Performing routine maintenance and repairs on security systems to keep them in optimal working condition

Providing excellent customer service to our commercial clients, ensuring their security needs are met

Maintaining detailed records and documentation of all work completed

Adhering to all relevant health, safety and quality standards

Accurately record diagnosis and repair outcomes on customer Ticketing Systems

About You

Along with your strong work ethic, a strong understanding of security systems and equipment and previous experience in a similar role you'll have/be:

Formal qualifications in security systems installation and maintenance, such as a Certificate III in Security Operations or equivalent would be highly regarded

Full Australian working rights or be a permanent resident of Australia

Able to demonstrate a solid understanding and practical skills with security and access control systems, IP networks and devices

Able to read and understanding plans, topology diagrams, specifications etc. so as to be able to install and commissioning systems

Excellent problem-solving and diagnostic skills to quickly identify and resolve system issues

Strong customer service orientation and the ability to communicate technical information clearly to team members and clients

A keen eye for detail and the ability to maintain accurate records and documentation

A current driver's licence and the ability to travel to client sites as required

Willingness to obtain a Police Check and Working with Children’s Check
