Ayan Infotech has an exciting initial 9-month contract opportunity for a Senior IT Change Manager in Adelaide, CBD. A hybrid work model is provided with this contract, but the contractor must be based in Adelaide.

Ayan Infotech is seeking a highly motivated and experienced Change Management Lead to join a project team to support our client in delivering a major transformation program. This role will be responsible for leading and executing end-to-end change management activities to ensure successful adoption of new systems, processes, and ways of working-specifically in the transition to Microsoft Dynamics 365.

The ideal candidate will bring a strong background in stakeholder engagement, change impact assessment, communications, and training planning, with the ability to work collaboratively across business and technical teams.

Key Responsibilities

• Develop and lead the overall change management strategy in alignment with project objectives and organisational goals, defining the change approach, guiding principles, and success metrics in collaboration with project leadership. These activities include:
• Stakeholder Engagement & Analysis

• Lead the identification and assessment of key stakeholders through interviews and workshops; categorise stakeholders by influence and interest, and develop a stakeholder analysis to inform targeted engagement strategies.

• Change Impact Assessment

• Participate in subject matter expert (SME) workshops to assess current and future state processes; document change impacts across people, processes, and technology; identify high-impact areas and required interventions; conduct a high-level training needs analysis and present findings for stakeholder validation.

• Change Strategy & Planning

• Develop and deliver a comprehensive change management strategy and implementation plan, including role-based impact analysis, mitigation activities (communications, engagement, training), and a detailed change activity timeline for leadership approval.

• Communications & Engagement

• Design and implement a stakeholder-specific communication and engagement plan; define appropriate channels and mechanisms; draft, review, and finalise communications; and coordinate ongoing engagement through a structured change network.

• Training Planning

• Assess training needs based on change impacts; develop a training plan and schedule for key users; and align training delivery with the solution team, leveraging Microsoft resources and a Train-the-Trainer model.

• Change Readiness & Go-Live Support

• Prepare and deliver communications for pre-launch, Go-Live, and post-launch phases; support organisational readiness assessments; and manage issue resolution

• Integration with Project Delivery

• Collaborate closely with project managers, business analysts, and technical teams to ensure change management activities are fully aligned with project milestones and delivery timelines. Actively contribute to project governance by embedding change considerations into planning, reporting, and risk management processes.

Required Skills & Experience

• Demonstrated experience in large-scale change management programs
• Strong stakeholder engagement and facilitation capabilities
• Proficiency in change impact assessments and training needs analysis
• Excellent communication skills, with the ability to tailor messaging
• Advanced skills in Microsoft PowerPoint and Excel
• Familiarity with Microsoft Dynamics 365 preferred
• Experience in public sector environments is advantageous

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Business, Communications, Psychology, or related field.
• Certification in Change Management (e.g., PROSCI, APMG) preferred.
