About the Role

We’re seeking a proven Project Manager with extensive experience delivering complex civil works within the Defence sector. You will lead the delivery of major infrastructure packages ranging from $50M to over $200M in value. This role reports directly into the Project Director – Defence, a highly respected leader in the sector.

Key Responsibilities

• Build and own key stakeholder relationships in the Defence Sector - Brining you entrepreneurial mindset and willingness to be continuously shaking hands
• End-to-end management of major Defence infrastructure projects in line with client and government expectations
• Lead multidisciplinary project teams and site operations
• Ensure all project milestones, safety, quality, and environmental standards are met
• Manage project financials including forecasting, budgeting, and contract administration
• Build and maintain strong working relationships with Defence stakeholders, consultants, and subcontractors
• Drive a high-performance culture with a focus on delivery, compliance, and continuous improvement
• Build your Team from the ground up

About You
To be successful in this role, you will have:

• Proven experience managing infrastructure projects in the Defence sector
• Track record delivering projects valued from $50M to $200M+
• A degree in Civil, Mechanical, or Electrical Engineering
• Strong leadership, communication, and stakeholder management skills
• An entrepreneurial mindset and proactive approach to problem solving
• Full Australian citizenship – required due to project security requirements
